Are you ambitious? Women mostly prefer men who have goals and great ambitions in their lives. It is OK to be delivering pizzas at night because that helps pay the bills, but not if it is a way to stay home and play the latest X-box games or watch TV all day! An intermittent drink is fine, but living in the bar 6 nights a week is not. Usually women do not go for men who are heavy drinkers. It is OK to take your girl friend out for a few drinks but keep it to a minimum. Among the qualities women look for in a man, drunk, making a fool of yourself and slobbering, is not certainly any of them.

You may be a sports fan, but your date may not be one. An occasional chat about your favorite sport and team is fine, an entire evening having to listen to you go on and on about them is not. If you are out on the first date and would like a second, keep the sports talk to a minimum.

Do not look forward to sex on the first date. Most women are looking for romance and a partner in their lives, if that is not your goal, and your intentions run more along the sexual line; tell the woman from the start that sex is what you are expecting. That way the woman will have either the opportunity to accept your invitation or not. There are some women who are just looking for a good time on a date, but there are also those who are not. So be straightforward about what you are expecting.
