Yes ladies, I am sorry to say that we must remain old fashioned when it comes to the phone.  If he wants to get to know you he will call.  We can go first on almost anything other then the first phone call.  It is too easy to come across the wrong way if you phone him.  Men have the tendency to feel smothered quite easily, so be patient, and put that phone down.

Get to be Unavailable
So what, you sit at home every night with your cat.  A lot of women do, you are not alone.  However, we do not all make that apparent to the opposite sex.  Not being around all the time is actually a turn on for guys.  it keeps them guessing on where you are, what you are doing and who you are with.  So let the voice mail get one or two of his calls every one and a while.  You will notice he calls a whole lot more when you are ‘not home’.  You cannot drop everything just to be available to a guy.  They do not appreciate it, or even understand it, so why bother.  You want to appear as you have a life apart from him.

Do Not Talk His Ear Off
It is okay to have one or two of those all night conversations every once and a while, but do not make a habit of it.  Try to keep the conversations short, and let him think you have other things you have to do, besides talk on the phone.  If you do not keep it short then the relationship will get stalemated at the phone portion, and you will never get to meet face to face.
